About the author:

Taylor is an illustrator from Minneapolis, Minnesota. She also teaches group exercise classes and volunteers for People & Pets Together, U of M Tree Care Advisors, and is currently in her “intern” year to become a Master Gardener Volunteer and Canning & Preserving Consultant.

In the early-to-mid 2010s, Taylor worked as a professional baker in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and even started her own bakery business and blog - Oh Dear Bakery. She no longer bakes professionally but consistently uses her skills in the kitchen to create delicious things for friends and family.
